Bible Believers Missionary Baptist Church began fellowship at the Elks Lodge. In the month of August 1995, the body voted to secure Kennedy Elementary School at 17500 Belshire St, Cerritos as a place of worship, and the Cerritos Senior Citizen Center for evening Bible study. During this month, a proposal for Pastor Oliver Hegmon was asked to serve as Senior Pastor.

Under Pastor White leadership many programs were organized which focuses on equipping each member with tools to build the kingdom. The Vision Statement is evident of his strong belief that all members can become a servant for the Lord to proclaim God’s word. Bimonthly Youth and Young Adult Bible studies began.  In 2002, Weekly Bible Cells in the home, a new Vision Team, Sunday School (Experiencing God and the Mind of Christ), and a twice weekly youth and young adult Bible Study.

As Bible Believers continues its growth, we solicit the prayers of all that God will continue to encourage our Pastor and that each member become stronger in God’s word and taking the word to the streets and surrounding communities.
